I have been looking through this site and have not found a post that is similar to my situation.  I have a 73" television, (my pride and joy).  While watching it the other night, I saw what appeared to be a stinkbug on the screen of the tv.  I walked over to remove it and found that the bug was on the inside of the screen.  This was disheartening, although, I felt that this was not going to be much of a problem.  I was dead wrong.

As the night progressed and the stink bug disappeared from the screen, I thought that this would be the end of it.  I was wrong once again.  The next thing that had appeared was, what I believed to be the same stink bug, but this time it was projecting a dual image on the screen. A positive / negative effect.  It looked as if it was joined at the bottom of the legs and moved across the screen. (Star Trek (2) parallel worlds).  This was annoying, but not too bad because it would migrate to the edge and disappear.  It would be awhile before it would appear again.

The bug decided to taunt me in another way.   Later that evening, the stink bug made its way to the main projection bulb and began casting a giant shadow, 10 times its original size on to the screen.  I am living with this damn thing and hoping that it will die soon.  I have no way of getting to him without opening up the tv.  I am not equipped to take on the opening of a 73" tv.

It is now 3 weeks later and I am still dealing with the many different images of my bug.  It has been on tv so many times that he is up for an "Emmy".  Last night a second bug appeared, I am hoping that the (1) bug had found a new area and was casting a different type of image.  Although I believe that a second bug has arrived.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I would extract, mutilate, torture or interagate this bug to first find out if there are more of his type in there and then dispose of them as needed.
