Hi Sarah,

I did the peice on this fourm about keeping the stinkbugs out of your house. I've been doing this for people in the area (northern Virginia) for the past couple of months. I've learned alot and would be glad to share what I know with you. I HAD a huge infestation problem but, so far, none since I applied these methods to my own house. The swarm should be in full swing around here later this week as the temprature drops. In the higher elevations they are already here.

ive lived in pittsburgh my whole life and for the last 5 years or so i have been completly infested with stink bugs. what ive done to combat the problem was get new windows through out the whole house new doors and i have gone through about 40 to 50 cans of foam sealant and did every place i could find that i could foam. i have mostly solved the problem but not before ive spent close to 20k and allmost a year remodeling the house to keep them out. yea all the new stuff is energy efficient and such but most of it all was to KEEP THE STINK BUGS OUT. i spray ortho max defence bug spray around all the windows and doors and it kills them but the problem is i cant kill enough of them to make a difference. but at least im keeping them out of the house
